My Most Awesome Dr.  who woke up at 2:30 to drive to Womans to deliver my baby. 

So this is my little girl!!  Boy did she get to this world fast.  She wasted no time and I almost did not get my epidural.  But I am proof you can get your epidural at 8 cm.  SO the birth story.  Sunday the 23 of Sep was our Primary Program.  I did the music and i was having braxton hicks. Which was normal because I have been having them for months.  So we go home and around 8 pm I start cleaning. Craig was making fun of me saying Keep the Sabbath day holy Leanne.  I said well I want it clean and I think Heavenly Father knows why I have got the sudden urge to get the house in order.  Like I did a heavy cleaning, base boards washed all my rugs, etc.  Craig was like why dont you just wait until tomorrow for your normal cleaning day.  I was like I dont know i Just want it done.  Then around 11:00 I told Craig to go put the carseat in the van.  He said Leanne no I will do it later. I said ok.  Well around 1:00 I noticed my braxton hicks were staying while I was laying down.  so around 1:30 I called my mom to meet me and kids at hospital.  Get there around 1:50 and they get me in a room in the assessment center around 2:00. Nurse checks me and says I am only a 1cm and still high.  I told her I am hurting and I have fast deliveries.  She said they called my dr per her orders, but he dr on call said to wait and check me in an hour at 3:00.  I told the nurse I dont have time for that.  So finally at 2:20 the nurse came back in and I said please I am hurting.  She checked me and I was at a 6 cm.  The nurse looked at Craig and she looked at me and said sorry and literally ran me up to Labor and Delivery.  My water broke while on the way and I was ready to start pushing but I prayed bc I wanted the epidural.  Then the nurse checked me and i was a 8cm.  Then finally I got my epidural then My dr made it. Love me some Dr Willett.  and I started pushing.  Yes One hour and 11 minutes my little girl got here healthy and she has a set of lungs.  I am in love again.  I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father who has given me one of his spirits once again to raise. 

Hurricane Isaac and WHAT........ LSU FOOTBALL

 SO we survived Hurricane Isaac.  We were only without power for 10 hours.  I have def. been through worse hurricanes, but I tell you what being 35 weeks pregnant in August with no power is no fun.  Isaac seemed like he stayed forever unlike the other hurricanes that come do damage and quickly leave.  Again it could be the pregnancy hormones talking.  But I am glad he is over.LOL

NOW I AM READY , for what for you ask?  WELL you know  IT NEVER RAINS IN TIGER STADIUM!!!!  LOL

Craig, Myron and Ethan

OH K look on my side bar and I cant believe that is all the time I have left until my little girl ( i have to get used to saying that ) gets here.  It has been an extremely busy last two months.  My Blaners turned 2 can you believe it. I am going to get his letter started and post it soon with pics of his birthday.

Craig finished Nursing School at OLOL and had his pinning ceremony in August.  It was amazing how quick he got his job at OLOL hospital working on the 6th floor in Trauma surgery. He has to work for one year before he can apply for the CRNA program. WHOOHOO!!!  I see the light.  I am thankful to my Heavenly Father who knows us and even though we don't know why things happen (DENTAL SCHOOL) HE DOES!!!!  So let me tell you how fast Craig got his job.  When you graduate you get a temporary nursing license until the State Board says you can schedule to take the NCLEX.  Well in the mean time you can still apply for a job.  I told Craig to do it. He fills out his application for a job at OLOL around 11:30 Monday night.  He gets a call Tuesday morning for interview on Wednesday morning.  He interviews Wednesday and that night is offered the job.  Craig is also furthering his Nursing degree and getting his BSN in Nursing.  He got accepted to the OLOL College program.  So the best part his new job knows that and if he maintains a certain GPA the hospital will pay for it. YIPEEE!!!!  I am extremely extremely proud of him and his hard work.  His work ethic is amazing and he is as smart as they come. 



Boys first day of school.

Myron is in first grade and his teacher this year is Mrs Casto.  He is not liking that in First grade you actually have to LEARN!!! lol he is getting so big

Ethan is in Kindergarten this year.  His teacher is Mrs. Foster.  He loves school.  He loves that he isnt in PRE-K anymore. 

They ride the bus home and they think they are so big.  I waited for them the first few days until Myron came off the bus looking very troubled. this is how my conversatin went with my 6 year old.
ME: Myron what is wrong? Did something happen on the bus?
Myron: NO
ME: Then what is it?
MYRON: ( in a firm and loud voice) I TOLD YOU NOT TO WAIT OUT HERE FOR ME!!!!

My six year old is embarrassed of me( sniff sniff)LOL!!!!

May Happenings 2012

Kerri becoming a true CAJUN lol!!  I would always do this in my younger years and yes there is a secret to doing it without getting pinched by one of those suckers.  So the trick was taught and YES Kerri passed.

The top picture of Lynnlee is the first one the tech got.  Mom and I started laughing right away and we both agreed she is a baby genius.  LOL !!  That is right Lynnlee you are the fourth child.  (see she is holding up her four fingers looking right at us) lol 

 SO May has come and gone.  It started by Vicki having little Brynlee on Mothers Day! To Vicki's credit she is a trooper. After going through three births about to be the fourth I would have quit with what she had to do.  What a beautiful moment it was though to see little Brynlee here safe and sound.  Then it was the last day of school.  So now I have a Kindergartener and a First grader. A first grader get out.  WOW time needs to slow down.  Then it was the end of baseball season.  The boys did an excellent job.  Blane will not be far behind, he already gets the ball puts it on the stand then gets the bat and hits it right off.  He is growing up so fast.  Then we found out what we were having. YES A GIRL!!!! I couldn't believe it.  I guess I still cant.  I am excited to have a little girl around here.  The name is actually one I have been keeping close because I really never thought it would happen and when I go back to Mississippi I will get the picture of Lynlee of where I got her name.  So now I am feeling a little overwhelmed by all the girl stuff out there and knowing I have to start buying.  Then it was our annual May 23rd Crawfish boil for Kyles birthday.  YUM-O I ate and ate the heck out of those suckers.  They were so good!!!!!   So that has been our May so far enjoying summer, swimming ,movies, mall for mommy and me, and sleeping in!!!

 To first of all My Father, Happy Fathers Day.  I am thankful for all you have done for me through out my life.  For being so optimistic and never ever finding fault in others a quality I strive for.  For a testimony that is strong and unshakable.  Thank you Dad

To my Father in Heaven who has blessed me with every needful thing. Who knows me better than I know myself and sees the good when I don't feel good enough.  Who never and will never leave me or give up on me.  Whose love is eternal and never fails. 

What I needed!!

You know those days where life gets hectic, nothing seems to be going right.  Whether it is worrying about things, money, health, a relationships, etc. Wondering why some people you love just really cant be happy for you, as much as you want them too.  You know the things that just constantly prick at your heart strings. Well as I checked into Craig s mission presidents grand daughter's blog, who lost her daughter two years ago this summer, I read this blog post http://patrickandashley.blogspot.com/  titled Comforting Hearts.  I broke down.  I realized that all the worry sometimes isn't worth it.  I have been blessed with a beautiful family, a house, two cars, etc.  I have been blessed with a temple marriage that seals my family forever.  Those hectic days try to learn, the worry give to the Lord, the family issues, life is to short !!! I am grateful for this gospel.  Even though life sometimes isn't fair and throws us huge curve balls we learn ,we grow ,we find strength were we didn't think we had none.  BUT by far  we are NEVER ALONE !!!!

Must read and see!!!!

I have been following Nie Nie blog for years now and I was so happy when I found out she was writing a book.  I really enjoyed this book.  I needed a lot tissue while reading it.  It made me grateful for my health and my relationship with my children.  There was a beautiful piece of advice given to Stephanie regarding her scars by Elder Jeffrey R Holland.  It touched my spirit and was so powerful.  Like my dad has always told me Leanne don't ever say you cant!!! When put in a situation you can and you will!! 

And I just finished the second season of this..

OHH I love this!! Craig and I actually watched the first and second seasons.  We would stay up until 12:00 am watching them because we didn't want to quit watching it.  I had to put subtitles on because of the English accents, but of course Craig understood everything. I really enjoyed them, I am dying for the third season to come out!!!!!  If you haven't seen it ..... watch it !!!

WAY TO GO CRAIG!!!!!

OK so this post is to brag about my husband.  Yes I am so proud of him and his accomplishments in nursing school.  So not only is he on the Dean's List he got accepted into the Nursing Honor Society at OLOL college.  So in honor of his big achievement, my mom watched Blane and got the kids from school for us sooo we could go down to the New Orleans and go to the Court of Two Sisters.  Then mom called and told us to go see the big ships of the Navy.  SO we did.  We so enjoyed our day.  We got to tour the destroyer USS Mitscher.

I loved every minute of it.  Stuff like that interest me.  My grandfather started his Navy career on a destroyer so it was fun to tour one.  I loved seeing all the men and women suited up in uniforms.  How proud I was of them.  You had to go through security and turn all cell phones and cameras off.  So we could not take pictures without permission.  Then the next day Craig got inducted into the Nursing Honor Society.  Craig thought that no one would be there to support him since you could of only have two invited guest ,well Me and the boys surprised him.  OF COURSE THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I WOULD OF NOT BEEN THERE!!!!  I wanted his boys to see him and be proud at how hard their dad works.  When Craig got his chords and certificate Blane said DADDA and everyone awed!!!  I am proud of him and he loves the nursing field.  He will graduate July of this year and then he has to work as a RN for two years before he can apply of nurse anesthetist school.  SO CONGRATS CRAIG!!!!!!  You work so hard for us and I know things get hard sometimes, but things always work out!!!!LOVE YOU!!!!!!
