Happy Birthday E-man

SO this post is extremely late and to Ethan I apologize because this is your annually birthday letter. 
You were so excited to turn 4.  You picked a Disney cake because we just got back from Disney world, thanks to Nana and Pops.  Since the trip you have let me know that you want miss Walt Disney world and have asked why cant we live there? LOL

Dear Ethan ( my lucky charm since you were born on St Patricks Day)
I can not believe 4 years has already passed.  Boy where has the time gone?  I still look at you and see your little baby face.  You are definitely a momma s boy and for that I am so grateful.  You are so sweet and thoughtful.  You always make me laugh and what melts my heart is when it is time for bed you look at me with your beautiful eyes and say " Mom, i want to cuddle and kiss".  So that is what we do I rock you and we hug hug and I kiss your sweet little cheeks.   You love love your Myron.  You two are the best of friends and I hope it will stay that way throughout your life.  Now to be honest it has taken some time for you to warm up to Blane, but you were the baby for three years so it is ok to feel a little jealous.  You are such a blessing to our eternal family.  You will always say thank you.  At dinner as we are eating you will always look at me and say Mom thanks you for dinner.   If I get you a snack , mom thank you.  Oh Ethan I love you so so much.  I am so grateful that Heavenly Father sent you here to me and I feel more than honored to be your mother.  Happy 4th birthday my little E man.

What's new with the Nelsons?

Well since the beginning of the year, Myron is playing YMCA basketball and he turned 5 years old.  I cant believe that he turned 5.  It has been a blink.  So this blog post is for my 5 year old, it is his annual birthday letter. 
To my eldest child, Myron

 I can not believe that on January 18 you turned 5 years old.  Where has the time gone?  We had such a good day that day.  We were with cousins, played at Jump n Jive and had your transformer birthday cake.  You were surrounded by family who loves you.  You were giving lots of fun gifts and you were so excited to turn 5.  Every night until your birthday before you went to bed you would ask " Mom is it my birthday yet?" I cant believe that I had to sign you up for school.  You are going to be going to Kindergarten.  I can hardly believe that.  To be honest with you, I am not ready to let you go yet.  I am not ready for you to grow up.  Thanks so much for being my first born.  Thanks for enduring my learning how to be a parent on you, LOL.  Myron I love you with all my heart.  I love your laugh and your funny stories you tell me when we get in the bed together.  You love learning about the gospel and love to read scriptures as a family.  You are such a good big brother.  The other day I was really sick and in the middle of the night you came into my bed and laid by me.  I did not rush to take you back in your bed, I just grabbed you and brought you closer and held you.  I told you the story of when you were born and how I never wanted to put you down.  I looked at you that night and tried to memorize your little face because you will be ten before I know it.  I love you MY!!!!

HaPpY nEw YeAr

Well New Years in the Nelson household was simple.  No going out because Blane was sick.  It consisted of Martinelli Sparkling Cider, hum and my favorite ice cream, Blue Bell's Mint Chocolate Chip.  Myron and Ethan did not make it until the new years but two of my four mens were up.  So I got two kisses.  Then came Thursday the 6th and Jenn texts me and said her water just broke.  I was so excited I could not contain myself.  I got to the Hospital minutes before he entered this world.  I got to go in after and hold him.  I feel in love he is so tiny.  He has Markus's lips and Jenn's nose.  The eyes I have not figured out yet. 
Then the next day we were off to Liberty, MS to cheer for the Tigers.  All the boy cousins were dressed in LSU. ( they all love each other soo cute.)  We popped fireworks, Uncle Ronnie shot a coyote but he could not find it because he lost the blood trail.  So all the night the boys were saying that Uncle Ronnie shot that big bad wolf. 
Then Saturday was Craig and I 6 year anniversary.  We went to Ruffino's.  Boy was that fab.  I got the Fillet Mignon with lump crab meat on top.  Loved it...  then we get home and I start feeling horrible, i have a fever, and a horrible sore throat, i think it is strep.  Fun I know.  So today I have been in bed all day and I have watched my husband, clean house, do 2 loads of laundry, dishes, dirty diapers, brought me soup and filled my water bottle, ALL without being asked or told.  He just got done making the boys a homemade pizza for dinner.  So as I write this I realize I have been given the best husband in the world.  I am thankful to him and for the 6 years and 3 sons later.  I could not have asked for more. 

I will let Jenn be first to post pictures of her little man.  He is sooo cute!!!!

1. I stamped Jewelry for my Mom, Kathy ,Meme and Aunt Carolyn ( this one is Kathy and has the first Initials of all her children with a pearl) Anyone want to do this just let me know.

Good Bye 2010.. Hello 2011

Where as the time gone..  we have been so busy ..  After Halloween we went to Arkansas to visit Craig's grandmother and aunts.  That was such a fun trip and the boys loved it....  We went on a drive thru safari and went into a cave.  We are going to make it an annual trip for our family.  Especially for our boys, so that as they get older they can have memories of going on road trips to visit their great grandmother.  She is an incredible women she has such a strong testimony of the gospel and her faith is unwavering.  I am honored to be her granddaughter in law. I love talking to Craig's aunts as well.  I have never met a smarter group of women. Then we took family pictures thanks to Lindsay McBride. Check out her website at http://lindsaydephotography.blogspot.com/ .  Then my SIL twin sisters came in town from AZ and we went on a swamp tour with Bryan Champagne. It was a blast and it was soo beautiful.  They were so fun to have. Christmas was fun ..  Christmas Eve was of course with the Nelsons, starting with breakfast at La Madeline's, then presents, we stayed until 9:00 pm playing Kinect with the Catrons, talk about FUN...  then Santa finally made it here....  Christmas morning was sooo fun .....the boys were so into it.   Then off to Liberty, MS for more fun.. then back to Momo and PoPs house for Throckmorton family fun and Santa actually came.  My Papa dressed up has Santa and all the boys were soo excited to see him, but it did not take Myron anytime to realize it was Papa, he is getting to smart to fool.  LOL.  Then Christmas night Ethan and Blane both started running fevers.  Fun, I know, and Blane is still sick.  Well here is a little recap  of 2010 for the Nelson household:
* We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary
* The Saints won the Superbowl!!!
* Myron turned 4
* Ethan turned the big 3 and potty trained himself ( no more diapers)
* Was called to be the second counselor in Primary the best part my mom is President she is amazing
   (I LOVE LOVE MY CALLING!!!!!!!!)
* Daniel was born ( my nephew)
* The boys played T-Ball
* Eden was born ( my neice)
* I became a mother for the third time( Blane Ryan 7/6/2010)
* We bought a Toyota Sienna
* Kyle and Kerri now live here
* Went on a family Vacation with all the Throckmortons to Pensacola had a great time.
* Ethan started going to preschool with Myron
* Blane started crawling two days after he turned 5 months
* Got to be with Grandpa Myron , Uncle Brian and Aunt Doris for Thanksgiving
* Craig and I celebrated our 29 and 28 bdays in December.
 One sad thing is my Uncle Lyn passed away in October. 
With that note my Father gave Uncle Lyn's eulogy and he told of a time that he went to visit dear Brother Haley in Gonzales ward , he asked Brother Haley how long has it been since you been in the rolling hills of Tennessee?  He looked at my dad and said " Richard it has been but a blink" and in my birthday card my dad wrote "Wow 29 years Leanne, It has been a blink. "Yes life is a blink.  It goes to fast, already another year gone!!  But I cant wait to see what this year brings for the Nelson family

We had a great Labor day weekend.  Pizza, Jambalaya ( thanks Shane it was sooo good) < LSU FOOTBALL,playing games and Blessing Blane.  It was so fun to have Grandma Nelson and Aunt Marg come from Arkansas for Blane's blessing.  Craig did such a good job.  He could barely even start the blessing.  Esp. saying Blane Ryan.  Saturday night Craig and I stayed up talking and I asked him, you think Ryan will be there in spirit?  He looked at me and said I never really thought about it.  I said I think your brother will be there right on the side of you as you bless Blane.  I think he was there with all the boys blessings.  I know that the spirits of those we love are here. They are busy at work, but they are here among us.  Cheering us on, praying for us, strengthening us.  I am so grateful for PoPo and Pops and Blane's uncles who stood in the circle. I am thankful for the priesthood and the power it gives men on this earth. I am thankful for the priesthood in my home.  I am thankful for families and how they are and can be together forever.  I recently came on a blog and when I read it i cried I am still crying.  SO beware if you link to it, to have tissue at arms reach.  All I have to say that this night my testimony was once again strengthened.  The blog is http://patrickandashley.blogspot.com/ you will  look on the side to read the story of their 18 month old little girl. 

I love this gospel and for the strength it is to me.
