I Need to catch up!!!!!

I promise I will catch up.  There has been a lot of happenings around here!!!  Myrons birthday ( yes your yearly birthday letter from your mom is coming.  Ethans b-day ( yes your yearly birthday letter is coming) and some more fun things happened since the last post.  I will try to catch up by next week.

Merry Christmas!!

    So Christmas came and went.  Now it is January and before I know it will be Christmas again.  We had Christmas at my parents house on Friday with my brother and sister.  The boys got  big wheels that can do 360 s.  Blane got a Radio Flyer bike that you ride  down a little slope. Then we had lunch, went bowling and had dinner.  Then finally went home. Then Christmas Eve was spent with Craig s family.  We had breakfast,then present time.  The boys got the new Innotab and Blane got a ride on digger toy. He loves it.  Then we played outside until the boys couldnt take it anymore. 

I have been wanting to take my boys to the levee for the bonfires forever!!  It was something as a kid  we would go as a family to the bonfires on the levee  on Christmas Eve.  My parents still go. So this year I was determined to go.  The boys had a blast.  They rolled and rolled down the levee. Blane loved running down it and trying to walk back up it.  LOL Then we got home took baths. Read the Christmas story in Luke and then the Night Before Christmas.  The next morning Santa came and he was quite good to the Nelsons this year.  Then we went to church.  I really enjoyed the music and message. Then loaded up the car and went to Liberty MS to be with my Dads family.  You see my boys now want to move to MS and live with their cousin Dhrer, who at age three got his first four wheeler and bow and arrow and hog for target practice.  My boys don't understand why we cant have a four-wheeler at our home.  LOL!  We had such a wonderful Christmas together.  I love my family so much.  Then after Christmas Craig recieved a envelope from Our Lady of the Lake it had this in it

He is on the Deans list this semester.  He amazes me with how smart and dedicated he is in his schooling.  I am so excited where we are going with his field of work and for where it might take us.  It has been a roller coaster of ups and downs trying for dental school, but sometimes things don't work out as much as we want them too.  I know when that door closed another one opened immediately .  He loves the nursing program at the Lake and cant wait for the CNRA field ( it will take two years of RN work first).  I am so proud of him which leads me to my next topic. 

7 years ago today at 1:00 in the afternoon,  I kneel ed across the alter from Craig and was sealed to him for time and all eternity. I cant believe that it has been 7 years and now three kids later, wow how time flies!!  I am thankful that Craig as giving me the option to stay home with our boys and raise them.  Does it get hard yea esp with him in school.  But I wouldn't trade it for the world.  I have learned so much.We have such supportive parents and family.  To Craig I love you.  You are my Hero.  You make me want to be a better person.  You are such an amazing father and husband.  THANK YOU for doing the dishes without being asked, giving the boys a bath without being asked, sweeping the kitchen without being asked, taking out the trash without being asked, vacuuming  without being asked.  You dont know how much that makes me happy.  I LOVE YOU.  I think my bff said it best when she gave me a card today for our anniversary that said 7 years ago
you married your eternal companion
you took on the "Nelson" name
you started your eternal family.

So I  made an attempt to take the boys pictures for Christmas this year, since Craig is back in school and the budget is tight non -existent (jj). All I know is that this year as flown by.  As it not.  Really in 6  months  my baby will be 2.  I will have a 2 year old.  REALLY!!! 

NELSON'S ABC OF 2011

A= Craig got ACCEPTED into the ACCELERATED Nursing program at OLOL College

B= BLANE turned 1 on July 6th.  

C= I got a new calling in CHURCH (which I lOVEE ) Primary CHORISTER !! ( dont hate)

D= Went to DISNEY WORLD for Mardi Gras break.  WE LOVED IT!!! 

E= ETHAN broke his left arm in two places falling off a slide :(

F= Myron lost his FIRST tooth this year!!!

G= We went on our annual Throckmorton GULF SHORES trip!!!

H= Renting a HOUSE instead of an apartment!!!

I=  Craig got me an I Phone for Mothers Day!!! ( I love that man)

J= JENN ( my bff) threw me a surprise birthday party.( which i was completely surprised) 

K= Myron started KINDERGARTEN this year.  His teacher is Mrs. Fitzgerald

L= LEANNE turned the BIG 30 on Dec 2nd!

M= MYRON played basketball this year!!

N= NELSON family reunion this year in Louisiana !!

O=  Craig is ONE year OLDER the BIG 29! on DEc 14th ( one more yr till he is the BIG 30)

P= Ethan started PRE-K this year. His teacher is Mrs. Schmidt

Q= QUITE annoying Blane holds his breath and passes out!! (FUN RIGHT) UGHH!!!

R= ROLL TIDE LOST and will lose again because the moon and TIGERS control the TIDE!!!

S=  Craig got a new calling as a SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER for the 14-15 year olds.

T= TIGERS went undefeated and WON SEC Championship

U= Craig and I went to the LSU vs AUBURN game!!

V= Attended another season of LSU VOLLEYBALL

W=  WENT to market with Jenn in New Orleans!!!

X= Craig and I love to watch X -FACTOR on FOX

Y= Myron was on the YANKEE Tball team and Ethan was on the Rockies!!

Z= Went to New Orleans and Baton Rouge ZOO several times this year

Ethan totally fell in the pool and was freezing cold and crying!!!

So of course Myron had to jump in,

     So when Alicia and I get together it is bad bad news.  Why? you ask.  Our minds start turning and think of fun things that our boys can do.  This time it involves a half deflated air mattress( thanks Mammu) kids, Aunt Sha , Leanne with camera in tow.  SO we had the boys sit on one side and Aunt Sha jump on the other.  The boys went flying!! Alicia and I cried laughing, it was soo funny.  The first person we tried it on was Dandel( aka Daniel) he went so high and landed on the side of the mattress luckly he was ok!! So this brings memories back of the last time I was with my cousins Sara and Nate before they were killed.  All 8 of us cousins together, in Liberty MS.  Lots of land, 4 wheelers, and us.  What do Anna and I come up with. We get the garbage can lid poke a hole through it put a rope through it tie it to the back of the 4 wheeler.  What do you have garbage can lid pulling!!!  My dear sweet Sara was the driver, Nate was behind her with the video camera and recorded the FUN!!   My MoMo even did it.  I am thankful for those memories!!!  I am thankful for being with my family during this wonderful holiday of thanks.  I always enjoyed going to my Meme house as a kids now it is great to see my kids get the same way.  We had great food and of course of dads fried turkey!!!! YUM-o!! I have been so blessed in my life. Even my trails have taught me to have a more thankful heart!!!  Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Halloween 2011

We  have been so busy lately.  Well leading up to Halloween Craig and I got to go to the LSU vs Auburn game.  Thanks to my Aunt Cheryl, she gave us her tickets to the game. 

What made it even better WE WON!! There is nothing like being in Tiger Stadium on game days. 
Then on Wednesday the boys came home from school and we carved a pumpkin for trunk or treat at the church.  Craig was at school so I had to do the pumpkin by myself and the boys wanted a spider.  So I did my best!! This year Myron was Venom (then for actual Halloween he was Darth Vader) Ethan was Venom and Blane was a lion.

Then what happened Sunday night? Myron lost his first tooth and the one on the side of it is loose too.

Lets just say this was such a tragic experience for Myron.  LOL Yes I am laughing but it is soo funny because he can not stand the sight of blood. So when it started bleeding and it was just hanging there he about lost it.  Then it finally came out after Craig pulled on the washcloth that was in Myron's mouth. So after the drama he was so excited to put his tooth under the pillow then he got in the covers, sitting up with both hands in the air, he screams.." I AM GETTING BIG" lol. 

Then Monday was HALLOWEEN..  we were invited by Fergursons to ride on their trailer and trick or treat.

We had a blast.  The Ferguson's had hotdogs, hamburger, and drinks.  Myron and Ethan loved it.  Blane fell asleep half way through trick or treating.  Then we ended up at the Sanders house had shrimp and corn soup, gumbo and picked up some YM and YW to finish off trick or treating.  He really enjoyed ourselves. 

To brag on my Hubby a bit, he has straight A's thus far at OLOL.  He is in the accelerated RN program.  I am soo proud of him.  I don't know how he does it!!!
