WAY TO GO CRAIG!!!!!

OK so this post is to brag about my husband.  Yes I am so proud of him and his accomplishments in nursing school.  So not only is he on the Dean's List he got accepted into the Nursing Honor Society at OLOL college.  So in honor of his big achievement, my mom watched Blane and got the kids from school for us sooo we could go down to the New Orleans and go to the Court of Two Sisters.  Then mom called and told us to go see the big ships of the Navy.  SO we did.  We so enjoyed our day.  We got to tour the destroyer USS Mitscher.

I loved every minute of it.  Stuff like that interest me.  My grandfather started his Navy career on a destroyer so it was fun to tour one.  I loved seeing all the men and women suited up in uniforms.  How proud I was of them.  You had to go through security and turn all cell phones and cameras off.  So we could not take pictures without permission.  Then the next day Craig got inducted into the Nursing Honor Society.  Craig thought that no one would be there to support him since you could of only have two invited guest ,well Me and the boys surprised him.  OF COURSE THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I WOULD OF NOT BEEN THERE!!!!  I wanted his boys to see him and be proud at how hard their dad works.  When Craig got his chords and certificate Blane said DADDA and everyone awed!!!  I am proud of him and he loves the nursing field.  He will graduate July of this year and then he has to work as a RN for two years before he can apply of nurse anesthetist school.  SO CONGRATS CRAIG!!!!!!  You work so hard for us and I know things get hard sometimes, but things always work out!!!!LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Happy Easter

 

I love Easter.  I love what it means.  Its the holiday that makes me put into perspective what life is.  How many things that I have been blessed with. The most important thing to me is my family.  I love my children.  I feel so blessed to be called their mother.  I love them with all my heart.  As Easter comes ( most of the time in April) so does the anniversary of my cousins death.  This year it will be 10 years since the day of the accident.  I am thankful that Easter comes first.  It reminds me of the important event that changed the world.  That because of my Savior , death is not an end but a beginning.  I know that we will live after this life.   I am grateful that we will be together forever someday!!! 

Above is one of my all time favorite talks given by Elder Joseph B Wirthlin.  I can remember the feelings that came to my heart as he gave this talk.  As I thought about the kids accident that being one of my personal Fridays, how Sunday did come.  It came through prayers, scripture study, attending the temple, and so many others things.  Oh how I miss them but I have a testimony that they are OK, that they are busy at work on the other side.  I have had tender mercies feeling them near me at times in my life.  When I married in the temple was one of those times.  I knew they weren't far.  I love this gospel, I love my Savior that he endured to the end. That he lived the perfect life so I dont have to.  That if I fall I can repent and get back up because of Him.  Oh how I love Him.

Well  Ethan turned the BIG 5 on March 17!! Yes he is my lucky baby boy.  I call him my good luck charming!!!

Well Ethan the big 5!!  Well your birthday was on a Sat the same day as your birthday parade. ( the St Patrick's Day Parade which he has renamed as his birthday parade) You had so much fun.  We got so much stuff.  I cant believe we have been going to that parade for 5 years.  We love that tradition.  You are getting so big.  You love love school!! You have a wonderful teacher who you adore ,her name is Mrs. Schmidt.  Of course you have a girl in your class who Mrs. Schmidt says adores you and her name is Ava.  She is a cute thing too.  But you tell me mom I  don't like her like she likes me.  LOL  You are by far the best cuddlier ever and you give the best kisses, but I think you have so competition from your younger brother Blane.  You are def. the comedian of the family.  You remind me so much of your Uncle Kyle and how he made me laugh growing up.  ( Well I still laugh at Kyle and anything he does ) Your eyes Ethan are dangerous!! lol You smile with them, they twinkle, and when your sad, I see it.  I love your smile your dimples.  I love how you always make sure prayer is said every night.   You love to sing.  You can hear a song and you will sing it all day long.  Ethan I love you , your are my Luck Charming!!!

Oh Myron I cant believe you are 6 , where does time go? You have lost 3 teeth this year, which I should video tape because you are, how shall I put this. Lets just say you will probably not be a doctor.  Blood you despise !! You love school and so far have gotten all E's on your report card.  Your teacher Mrs. Fitzgerald sent home a note the other day that read, " I've been meaning to write you all  week.  Myron has been WONDERFUL! He's always the first one to listen and continues, listening, even when everyone else has gone nuts around him.  I'm so thankful he's in my class.  And I'm sorry there's such craziness going on around him! Guess he's just being prepared early for life:) "

I was so happy to receive this note , I am so happy that you continue to listen and obey, even when others don't.  I am proud of the example that you are to your classmates and you don't follow even though sometimes it's hard.  I pray now that that leadership and obedience will follow you through your teenage years.  You love the scriptures, one of your favorite things to do after we read the Book of Mormon is to act it out.  You love being Nephi!!  You are a great big brother. You started praying for a sister in October you still pray every night" that mommy  has a girl baby in her tummy. " I know whether a girl or boy you will be so happy!!  Myron I love you so much !!!
