This is Mike the Tiger he is so pretty and huge. We went the first day they let him out in his cage. Can I say that we were quite underdressed. Everyone had on their LSU shirts. We had a good time.

Ethan is 6 months old. He is now crawling and pulling up on the couch and everything thing he can grab he tries to pull up on. He isnt crawling great but he gets from point A to point B. He is growing up sooo fast. I am soo thankful he is here and apart of my family forever. I was at my moms house yesterday and I watched as she interacted with my kids and I thought how lucky I am to have a great mom and dad who love my kids soo much that they would give anything to them. I am soo very blessed.

OUR TRIP TO ARKANSAS !!!

All I can say is that the trip we took will never be forgotten. Craig got sick on night throwing up and yeup the next night I was holding the toliet but not only me Myron and Ethan as well. So needless to say it was horrible. We did enjoy our first day there we went on a Safari we rode around fir 5 miles looking at animals and I kept on luring the ostriches to the car. It was fun. Then we got out and let Myron go play with the Kangaroos and pigs and goats and yes baby lions. It was soo fun. Better then the zoo because you stayed in the car for the most part.

Another Lesson Learned

Well Last Thursday July 26, 2007, Myron had tubes put in his ears and his adnoids out. We got there bright and early 6:15 am. Not even 10 minutes there he met a new friend, David Jones "DJ" ( you can see the side of him in the above picture ). They played and played and even went into pre op together. I had no idea what procedure DJ was getting done I assumed tubes like Myron. Well it came time for them to take Myron and the parents can only go the door from there the nurses have to take them into the surgery room. He screamed MAMA DADA MAMA DADA with his little arms outstrectched. Has they shut the door I just started crying and praying" I know this is an easy procedure keep him safe and calm Myrons heart". Yes I was a baby and yea I am the Mother and I know I deserve to cry if I want. The whole procedure took 7 minutes. As we waited in the recovery room waiting area I had the chance to talk to DJ's mom. I asked why he was there and she told me that as you can tell he was born with alot of fluid on this brain, that is why he has a big head. He is delayed in everything he does from walking to talking to even learning to sit up. He was getting the fluid from his brain drained. The procedure takes 45 minutes and last time they had to rush him to the OLOL hospital. They go through his eyes and drain the fluid. She wasnt even crying ( because this wasnt the first time she has done something like this )and I told her what a strong women she is. How blessed DJ is to have a strong mom by his side through his life. When we got home we sat in a circle around Myron and thanked Heavenly Father for the success of Myron's surgery and Craig proceeded to plea unto the Father for the healing and doctors and the parents of Myrons new friend DJ. The lesson ---when life gets bad and you feel like you have been dealt a bad hand. Someone always has it a little worse. Dont feel sorry for yourself and like DJ's mom said "YOU JUST MOVE FORWARD COUNTING YOUR BLESSINGS AND THANKING THE LORD FOR ANOTHER DAY "
