Happy Thanksgiving

Well I cant believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone. I have so much to be grateful for. I have two wonderful sons, an amazing husband, and a great family and friends. Craig graduates December 19 at 4:30. He has the highest GPA of his graduating class and let me not forget that he also has been on the Dean's List since we have been married. We are moving in with my parents in January ( so we can save money) and we will wait to see where Dental school will take us. Craig has applied to California( do not want to go there), Arizona( two schools) , Flordia , Alabama, Kentucky and New Orleans. I have a feeling we are going to Arizona but we will see. I am just so proud of my husband. I dont know how he does what he does. He is so humble. He has so much resposbility on his shoulders, but he seems never to stress. He has so much faith and trust in his Heavenly Father. I have faith but it sometimes it waivers. Craig is not only a husband, he is a father of two, full-time student, and has two jobs. We might not have tons of money, but we are never without. Words cannot express how pround I am of him. He has blessed my life beyond belief. He is truly my knight in shinning armor. He never complains, always positive and he loves not only our family, but he LOVES his family and ecspecially his mother. To me that is very important. I am just stressed from thinking about moving right after Christmas, seeing how we have to be out by December 31 and also I am going to miss Baton Rouge 2nd ward. The friendships I have, but I know that the just wont end, that I will talk to them just the same as I do know. I am so excited for this Christmas season, I have been listening to Christmas music since the first of November. I love this time of year. I love giving gifts. I love the First Presidency Devotional. It is on my cousins birthday this year, he would have been 22 years old. I think of him and my other cousin alot at this time of year. How time flies. I remember that dreadful call I recieved 5 years ago. Nathan's favorite song of all time was O Holy Night, he would sing it alot. Everytime I hear that beautiful song I think of my cousins and yes I cry. I cant make it throught that song. Not only do I think of my cousin ,but I think of my Elder Brother, my Savior. My favorite verse is the third "Truly He taught us to love one another, His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother. And in his name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, With all our hearts we praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we, His power and glory ever more proclaim! His power and glory ever more proclaim!" He truly broke the chain of death and with that we are able to live with Him and our Father in Heaven again. Also with all those family members who have gone on before. So yes I have alot to be grateful for. Thanks to all those who listen to me, who counsel with me and love me for who I am faults and all( haha) . I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and I hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday Season.

I made Myron's costume with the help of my mother in law. IT turned out sooo dang cute. Last Thursday morning around 2:45 Craig wakes up throwing up, so I take the kids and say see ya. He had a 12 hr virus that made him soo weak. We got home Friday morning and I Lysoled (sp?)everything. I cleaned washed and mopped every cornor of the apartment. Well Frdiay we went trick or treating. Half way during it Myron starts complaining that is tummy hurts , I was like oh no please say it isnt so. I hope h didnt get what Craig got. So we go home and I said Myron lets say a pray and he says " Yeah I will talk to Jesus and points to the picture of Jesus and he says he make me feel better" So he says his own little prayer. Then after he says amen he comes to me and says see momma Jesus made my stommy feel better. He had one bad diaper and that was it. The faith a two year old has. I thought that was a cute story. Well hope everyone had a good Halloween.

Thanks to Auntie Jenn and Uncle Markus we were able to bring the boys to thier first LSU game. It was so much fun and the boys loved it. So thanks to my bestest friend Jenn and her hubby for that memory.

Well we survived Gustav ! We did not have electricity for a week. We were lucky that Vicki and Stan were kind enough to invite our family to stay at their house for a few days. Then we still did not have power so we decided to go to good old Liberty, MS to be with my mo mo and aunt. So let me tell you of our wonderful adventure. Gustav got here at around 9:30 Monday morning. We lost power around 12:30 that afternoon. Then I saw a young man standing outside looking at the ground. I open the door and asked what was he looking for. He said that he opened his door to look outsided and the wind blew the glasses of his face. So while I was helping him look, that is when I noticed our car window got busted out by a rock. So trying to find something to cover our window, lo and behold a VOTE FOR MAYOR KIP HOLDEN sign flew right to us, haha so Thanks Kip, we will vote for you. Well that night around 11:30 we hear screaming and LSU chants. Sure enough where most of the football players lived had lights. SO we were getting hopeful that we might get them, yeah right. Tuesday we wake up and were told to go to the 459 commons and they were serving three hot meals a dayFREE to LSU students. SO THAT WAS PLUS. So we get home and around 5:30 pm our toliet wouldnt flush. Then I noticed it coming through our bathroom and sink. The sewer system was backing up and the floors above us was coming into our bathroom. So we called our Resident Manager and he said that Facilites Mantience would not be able to come unitl tomorrow. So Craig and I both went into two seperate rooms and without the other one knowing we prayed that someone would come that night. Sure enough at 8:00 pm someone knocks on our door. The stayed at our apartment until 2:30 am working on our toliet. It still wasnt fixed so the RM unlocked the one apartment that was vacant. Guess whose it was Our neighboor who was killed. SO i sucked up a little fear that i had and used his restroom and shower until they fixed ours the following day at 3:30. I LOVE ROTO ROOTER!!!!!! Luckly Stan who was so kind came to our apartment and said that they had electricity so we went there that night. So we are at Vicki and Stans who live on the same street as OLOL Hospital. Well Ethan was playing with Myron and Craig gave him a Jelly Bean and Ethan started choking Craig did the hymlick and back thrust , wasnt working. Ethan stopped breathing in Craigs arms, he started turning BLUE and his eyes were in the back of his head. I took him in my arms and prayed HEavenly Father dont let my baby die in my arms, so I took my fingers and stuck it down his throat and I couldnt pull it up so I pushed it down ( iknow i wasnt but i had no choice ) he caught his breathe and threw up blood. Then we was unconscience till we got to the er and they had to wake him up. I scratched his throat but that is all they could tell. They did not know if i pushed it down his lungs or if i pushed it to his stomach. So we got back to Vicki and Stans and Craig gave him blessing and I prayed that My Father in Heaven would take away his scratch in his throat and that the jelly bean was not in his lungs. So the next day ( after 72 hours of no sleep ) we brought him to his peditrican and he said I see no scratch in his throat and his lungs sound and look clear. ALL IS WELL. He said wow what a miracle. Yes prayers bring forth miracles, you better believe it. So all is back to normal now, thank goodness. I loved the unity that everyone showed for each other. You truly saw service being rendered. From the poor man you stayed at our apartment until 2:30 in the morning to our neighbors giving the boys watermelon after watermelon. I am thankful for Jenn who was prompted the night that Ethan scared us to check on me. I am thankful that I got to talk to her and to Onnie for thier love and concern for me and my family. Times like these show true friendship and love. I love my family and friends.

Preparing for Gustav !!!

That is right another Hurricane is on its way. I am a little anxious for this one. Nervous for my sister and her house in New Orleans. They are here with my parents. It looks like we are going to get the east side of the hurricane which is the worst part. I have everything we need, so we will see how it all plays out. The worst part is the wait. Katrina really taught our government alot and things are going smoothly so far. Last time when Katrina hit I was pregnant with Myron, now I have two little boys and my fear and anxieties are over them. Well we will ride it out in our little LSU apartment. I will keep you updated with any reports of our condition.

So we have Craigs old nintendo and we have been playing it. It has been so much fun. Myron can not wait until bath time because he knows he gets to play Duck Hunt before he goes to bed. Summer has come and gone and Craig is offically done with Summer school. He will graduate in December and it is off to Dental school, wherever that will take us. He are applying everywhere we can. I am just ready for him to take the DAT and for that whole process to be over with. I know he is nervous but he doesnt realize how amazing smart he is. I just got done with Twilight, I loved it and my mom has already got new moon for me. I am way excited. I can not wait for the movie. I have been keeping Braydon Roy and can I tell you what an excellent baby that is. He is great and he never cries with me. I love it. I also love the fact that out of this I get the better deal because I get to sleep at night, haha.
